The city of Halmstad celebrates its 700 years annivesery. Halland is a small province but it had a big immigration to USA in the late 19th century. Shortly some intresting features will be launched on the subject of swedish genealogy Genline (on of the companies that provide swedish churchrecords online) will be launching a new feature called familjeband.se It will be a new service wich will make it possible to upload ones Family Three online a similar service called bygdeband.se for researchers in local history will also be launched . The services will be launced and introducedat the Conference in Halmstad and I will try to attend and se what it is all about. Another company ArkivDigital will launch its own service of swedish churchrecords online called ADOnline I would also like to promote another podcast about genealogy the Genealogemspodcast hosted by Lisa Cooke in California The podcast gives valuable tips about how tog et the most out of your genealogy.
